I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
There are certainly plenty of breweries in New Mexico. But a farm-to-table brewery? Well, there aren’t too many of those! Like farm-to-table restaurants, farm-to-table breweries use locally-sourced ingredients in their beer. Many of these types of breweries even grow their own hops! To try a farm-to-glass brewery in New Mexico, you should visit Beer Creek Brewing Co. in Santa Fe.
Located along the famous Turquoise Trail, Beer Creek Brewing Company is well worth the drive. Using mostly locally-source ingredients in its brews, this is one farm-to-glass experience you can't miss.
Beer Creek Brewing brews its beer in a seven-barrel brewhouse and serves it out of a charming historic building in Santa Fe County. It started as a hobby between a group of friends.
When you visit the brewery, you'll feel instantly relaxed as you sit out on the beautiful patio with views. The ambiance here is absolutely wonderful and so is the service.
The beer here is made with local hops, most of which are grown on the company's farmland, and New Mexico barley. Beer Creek is dedicated to using all-natural ingredients in both its beer and the food it serves.
You can certainly order a pint when you're here at Beer Creek. However, if you want to try several different brews, a beer flight is always the best option.
There's also a full menu with sandwiches, salads, pizza, entrees, and even a kids menu -- this is a family-friendly brewery, after all! So come here to Beer Creek, bring the family and enjoy a pint or flight of farm-to-glass beer while chowing down on some delicious food.
