The Capulin Volcano is an extinct cinder-cone volcano and is located in the northeastern area of New Mexico. It is believed this volcano erupted 56,000 years to 62,000 years ago.
While there are several hiking trails at the Capulin Volcano National Monument, the Crater Vent Trail is one that is perfect for the entire family.
