Situated right on Main Street in Las Cruces, this lovely store has the perfect location. Main Street closes to traffic from 9 a.m. to noon, so you can stroll down the square and stop in at Coas for a peaceful morning. Be warned, though: it's quite bustling during the Farmers Market in the summer.
This gigantic bookstore is a huge warehouse full of finds, so you can browse for hours on end. You'll even find regional-only books, and rare out-of-print books at Coas. This is the go-to for any book lover.
