Located in the northern mountains of New Mexico is El Vado Lake State Park. This man-made lake is popular for swimming, kayaking, and fishing.
Don't forget there is a $5 cash entry fee per vehicle.

There are 80 camping sites within the park to choose from. Camping prices range from $8 for a primitive site to $18 a day for water, electric, and sewage hookups.
