I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
We all know there is plenty of natural beauty scattered throughout the Land of Enchantment, and there’s plenty of protected land in the form of national and state parks. With a total of two national park sites and 35 state parks, we can spend our lives exploring nature around the state. One New Mexico state park is hiding out in Guadalupita, a small village in Mora County. Coyote Creek State Park may not be as well-known as other state parks, but it’s so worth visiting.
Have you ever visited Coyote Creek State Park? If so, what did you think? Do you have another favorite New Mexico state park? Tell us in the comments. For more information about Coyote Creek State Park, visit the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department’s website.
