Is there any season more magical than summer in New Jersey? This time of year, we’re inspired to explore all the outdoor attractions that make our state so beautiful. Today, we’ll introduce you to a trail that blooms only once a year: the Sunflower Trail at Von Thun Farms. Meandering through a wide-open field of beautiful sunflowers, this lovely farm destination in Washington, New Jersey will delight everyone in your family. Plus, you can gather sunflowers along the way and take them home with you.
Welcome to Von Thun Farms, a family-run farm located in Warren County. In its 5th generation of operation, the Von Thun family has been a staple of New Jersey agriculture for over 100 years.
From pick-your-own fruit outings to weekend tractor rides and other seasonal festivities, you'll be delighted by all that this beautiful farm has to offer.
Von Thun Farms will actively monitor the number of people on the trail at any given time to ensure that visitors can enjoy a socially-distant experience.
As you make your way through the trail, you're allowed to pick your own sunflowers to keep. You can also purchase some pre-cut blooms from the farm market.
