Hike Less Than A Mile To This Spectacular Waterfall With A Rock Beach In New Jersey
New Jersey has some beautiful waterfalls, but some of them are quite difficult to access (harder, steeper, rockier hikes) or you aren’t able to get too close to the falls themselves. That’s not the case with the waterfall at Van Campens Glen Trail, which is easy to get to and even provides a fun little rock beach to rest at in the warmer months!

You only gain about 246 feet of elevation on this out-and-back trail, which is slightly over two miles long.

It's absolutely beautiful.

The amount of water really just depends on the rainfall and the season.

It's a great way to rest and take photos of the view - just keep in mind you're not supposed to swim or picnic on the beach. Swimming and wading are strictly prohibited and the stream is actually protected by the National Park Service.

No one likes hiking back in dirty clothes!

Just make sure to be respectful to your fellow hikers as always!
