Residents of New Jersey are no strangers to incredible dining, but according to a recent article by Time Out Magazine, they can now boast claim to the best diner in the whole country. Located in East Newark, Tops Diner is nothing short of legendary. Here’s more on the local spot with some of the best comfort food in town:
Tops Diner can be found at 500 Passaic Ave., East Newark, NJ 07029.
Tops Diner has been in business nearly 100 years. The neighborhood spot opened its doors in the 1920s and has been offering friendly service ever since.
The moment you walk into Tops, you'll notice all the makings of a classic diner: big comfy booths, festive lighting, a steel interior, and lots of framed photos.
