New Jersey is home to plenty of unique dining venues. One of our particular favorites in the state, though, is The Barn Original in Wyckoff. Once upon a time, it was a dairy barn, and now it’s a charming and cozy restaurant.

Constructed in 1779 as a dairy farm, the structure was converted to a speakeasy in 1929. The bar is actually built from an old farm wagon and to this day stands on its original wheels. Clearly, The Barn Original likes to honor its past, which is what makes it such an amazing restaurant (and the food’s pretty good, too).
