Tacos are just so tasty! They should absolutely be enjoyed, and one of the best ways to do that is through a bacchanalian feast. Perhaps a taco festival? That sounds fantastic, and we’re happy to report that New Jersey plays host to such an event. There will be tons of tacos to devour, but there’s much more fun to be had.
There will be over 50 restaurants serving up spectacular tacos, all competing to be the fan favorite, and win awards in several categories. There will also be taco trucks.
Including the Margarita Mix-Down (yes, there will be booze), Spicy Taco Of Hell Challenge, and Chihuahua Costume Contest. Don't miss the free hot sauce and salsa tastings, included with admission!
General admission costs $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. It includes access to all shows and events; tacos and a variety of goods will be available for purchase. VIP packages are available.
The NJ Taco Festival will be held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds (37 Plains Road, Augusta) on September 7th, from 10 am – 8 pm. For more on the festival, you can visit their website here. If you can’t wait until then for tacos (who could?) check out this New Jersey restaurant with over 12 types of tacos.
