Sushi by Bou, a popular NYC spot, will be opening its newest speakeasy location behind a secret door in Ani Ramen. The hidden restaurant within a restaurant will serve just 8 diners.

For $50, patrons will receive 12 pieces of sushi, hand-selected by talented and experienced chefs. This style of dining is known as Omakase. There is no menu and there are no orders. Patrons will enjoy a delicious, carefully selected surprise.

The meal will be timed, set to last one hour. It will be guided by the chef, for a customized one-of-a-kind experience. Only the freshest fish will be served and beverages will include sake, signature cocktails, Japanese beers and whiskies.

If you’re looking for a personalized and intimate dining experience that’s still fairly friendly on the wallet, this may be it. Fifty dollars per person isn’t too shabby for a unique night out, especially in Hudson County.
