While Lucy's past is fascinating, today's post is about the present. For the first time ever, Lucy will be listed for rent on AirBnB!

AirBnB is a vacation housing website that allows users to find unique and affordable accommodations across the globe. Lucy will be listed on the site beginning March 5th, but here's the catch...it's only available for three one-night stays.

Three lucky guests and their friends or families will get the chance to spend the night inside Lucy on March 17th, 18th, or 19th. While you might expect this to cost a fortune, Lucy is reasonably priced at $138 a night. (Since Lucy is 138 years old!) Note that this is not a contest - the stays will go to whoever books them first on AirBnB. Big Lucy fans, mark your calendars!

This is a big deal for several reasons, one of which is that Lucy is the only National Historic Landmark listed on AirBnB! To celebrate this historic stay, AirBnB will be making a donation to the Save Lucy Committee.
