The Jersey Shore is always hopping as the weather gets warmer, and no town is more in the middle of it all than Wildwood. Home to a stunning beach, a convention center, and the state’s best boardwalk amusement park, there’s always something to do. But on Memorial Day weekend, between May 26th and 29th in 2023, there’s only one place to be – watching the skies as the largest kite festival in New Jersey takes flight. The Wildwoods International Kite Festival begins outside the Wildwoods Convention Center, and goes all weekend as thousands of colorful and inventive kites sail over the skyline. There will be plenty of interactive events for those who want to participate, but just being on-site to watch this dazzling display is one of the most memorable experiences in New Jersey.
