When you think of famous New Jersey beaches, what comes to mind? Atlantic City. Cape May. Point Pleasant. Seaside Heights. But what if we told you there was another incredible beach – a natural gem within the Garden State that remains much of a hidden oasis of sorts? Welcome to the town of Spring Lake, New Jersey, with a population of fewer than 3,000 residents. Spring Lake is not only a charming and adorable town worth visiting, but it also has a stunning beach that is a New Jersey natural wonder just begging to be explored.
Spring Lake, New Jersey, nicknamed the “Jewel Of The Jersey Shore,” is known for a quaint downtown area, historic Victorian homes, and a beautiful two-mile stretch of boardwalk with non-commercial use.
But perhaps the best part about this tiny New Jersey town, which some might not even know exists, is the natural wonder known as Spring Lake Beach. This is easily one of the state's most beautiful and underrated beaches.
With a relaxed vibe and a long stretch of boardwalk, this is a great place to enjoy a more laid-back atmosphere, a long swim, and maybe even a surf, too.
What makes this natural wonder so special is that it’s comprised of over two miles of pristine sand and shoreline. You don’t find that type of solitude and natural beauty just anywhere.
Plus, just hopping into town for a few after you spend the day sunning is a great way to end the day. There are so many boutique stores and restaurants worth checking out.
