Seaside Heights is one of my favorite shore destinations. Home to the iconic Casino Amusement Pier, it’s been delighting New Jerseyans for decades! However, it’s changed quite a bit over the years. The busting beach town survived Sandy, and bounced back once again after a 2013 boardwalk fire. Resilient as ever, it still draws crowds.

You’ll find plenty to do here, both day and night. Enjoy arcade games and amusement rides, a waterpark, and countless concession stands! When it comes time to dine, check out popular eateries including Jax Garage (a laid back sports bar), Bobber’s Family Restaurant (a diner with a Disney theme), and Three Brothers From Italy (pizza). For nighttime fun, don’t miss Hemingway’s Cafe, Karma Nightclub, and Bamboo Bar.

Summer is in full swing and you can be sure that I’ll be enjoying Seaside soon but in the meanwhile, I’ll just have to reminisce. This incredible video from the 1970s (by greenrosetv) will most certainly take you back. Perhaps you’ll even spot someone you know! Be sure to share your Seaside memories with us in the comments.

If you’re feeling nostalgic, check out this amazing footage of Wildwood back in 1915. It’s absolutely fascinating!
