The hotel dates back to 1890. It was named the Georgette Hotel until 1945, when the Grenville Corporation took over the building and the name. It was sold to another family in the 1950s, and it remained a beautiful summer retreat. In 1987, it was renovated by the owner of Renault Winery, who created the current layout that includes 29 rooms (and the only elevator in town). Harry Typaldos purchased the building without a second thought in 2003, and to this day, the Grenville remains one of the most historic and welcoming hotels on the coast.
Today, each of the rooms and suites offers a peaceful luxury that's hard to find in busy, modern hotels.
