At the center of Millville, a historic small town in New Jersey, people will find WheatonArts. A towering structure housed partially in an old factory, this multi-use art complex has become one of the cultural hubs of the Garden State. It hosts regular events and exhibits throughout the year – but only one part of the museum will take you back in time to explore New Jersey’s art history. The art of glass-blowing, one of the most challenging art forms, was developed extensively here, and that history has been preserved in the Museum of American Glass. In addition to countless of stunning pieces of glass artwork, carefully preserved, you’ll find a recreation of a historic glass-blowing workshop. It’s one of the most fascinating museums in New Jersey, and as WheatonArts prepares to open for its 2023 season, you can see it for yourself.
