New Jersey might just be the water park capital of the world. We’ve got incredible parks scattered throughout the state and several new ones in the works. Water parks are big business in the Garden State and you’ll see advertisements all over, not that they need the publicity. We all know about Hurricane Harbor, Sahara Sam’s, Mountain Creek and Morey’s Piers. However, there is one water park in New Jersey that you may not know about.
The first municipal water park in New Jersey, Crystal Springs is an accessible, ADA approved aquatic experience. While it's certainly not the biggest water park in the state, it's a major step up from a town pool.
Members and visitors will enjoy a recreational pool, lap pool, splash pad, kiddie pool, activity pool, lazy river and several thrilling water slides. There's also a barbecue area for visitors to enjoy. If you don't feel like packing a cooler, head to the concession stand.
Guests over 48" inches can enjoy the entire park with the exception of the kiddie pool. Relax on the lazy river or get your adrenaline flowing on one of the water slides. Then, bring the little ones over to the splash pad with a nice mix of water features from sprayers to buckets.
Located in East Brunswick, daily weekend admission (the most expensive rate) is just $14 for residents. Non-residents pay $28. Active duty military personnel and veterans with valid ID get in free. Discounts are offered to seniors and seasonal memberships are also available. If you've got friends who are members, give them a call - they can get discounted guest passes. Another perk of membership? Group swim lessons are available and you may be able to participate in their competitive swim team.
You can find Crystal Springs Family Waterpark at 80 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick. They are currently open for the season. If you want an overnight water experience, check out this campground in New Jersey with the coolest water area.
