New Jersey offers a plethora of dining options from fast food to the finest cuisine. I love all the delectable diversity, but dining out all the time can get expensive. Lucky for us, we have quite a few restaurants offering fun food challenges, though they’re not for the faint of heart. If you love to eat and are up for adventure, consider giving one of these a try. Should you succeed, you can score a free meal and more!
We found several other restaurants with similar challenges offering “fame” and free gear, but not free food. Brick Lane Curry House in Upper Montclair and Ridgewood offers customers a free beer, a photo on the website, and a certificate of completion if they can survive a whole bowl of spicy p’hall curry. Pete and Elda’s in Neptune awards customers a free t-shirt if they can complete an extra large pie in one sitting. Sweet Jenny’s in Barnegat and Doo Wop Diner in Wildwood both offer a two pound burger challenge, Tailgater’s in Galloway has The Big Pittsburger, and Surf Taco locations have the Tsunami, a $16.95 burrito that will net you a “Wall of Fame” photo – if you can finish it in just 15 minutes!
There are so many food challenges in New Jersey, and they are constantly changing! Let me know about your favorites, especially those offering free food and fantastic prizes!
