The estate was once a family home, but when each member of the family died, the home fell into disrepair. It's now owned and maintained by the Mid Atlantic Center For The Arts, and visitors to the MAC frequently report sightings of spirits. This Washington Street abode is home to two spirits - Emlen's mother and aunt. One is quite irritable, and the other seems to be peaceful. Guests have also reported seeing the figures of the family dogs wandering the building.
