If you’re looking for a unique, family-friendly day trip that everyone will enjoy, check out New Jersey’s Second Wind Llama Farm. It offers one-of-a-kind walking adventures with llamas! The 3.5-acre New Egypt farm does grow vegetables in season but the llamas are the star of the show.
Second Wind is a special place that's perfect for making memories!
The farm is home to 7 lovely llamas - Carbon, Clemente, Eden, Eduardo, Gunner, Jim-E, and Jonathan Livingston Seagull. They're all friendly but each has its own unique and distinct personality.
When you visit for a llama walk, you'll start by learning about the llamas. You'll get a little meet and greet in so that you and the llamas feel safe and comfortable on your trek.
It's a 1.5-mile haltered-llama hike through the woods with a beautiful lakefront photo-op. All participants must be at least 12 years old. The llama adventure lite involves a shorter haltered walk within their pastures. This is perfect for younger children and senior groups. It's also somewhat wheelchair-friendly.
Great for a special date or some family fun, custom adventures can be created to suit a wide range of needs and interests. Think llama yoga or engagement photos with llamas!
Care and consideration are put into each session to ensure everyone (including the llamas) has a positive experience. Llama walks are fun, scenic, relaxing, and belong on your New Jersey bucket list! Time slots fill up quickly. They’ll begin booking in may for autumn adventures. You can learn more on their website, Second Wind Llama Farm.
