Lucy The Elephant is a New Jersey icon that’s graced our shore for decades. The giant elephant can be found in Margate and, while many are familiar with her (more accurately, him), not everyone has taken a tour yet. While I recommend an in-person tour when the elephant is open again (they’re fantastic!), this live virtual tour is sure to be both fun and interesting.

You can learn more about the tour and purchase tickets (they’re just $4.99) on the official event page and you can also support Lucy (a New Jersey treasure that’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places) by donating to the Save Lucy Committee or buying wonderful Lucy-themed merchandise from her official online store. You’ll find books, t-shirts, toys, and more. I absolutely love my Lucy wooden ornament (which I bought back in December, and also gave as gifts!) While you’re waiting for the tour, check out the short but informative video below. I’ve met the gentleman in the video and he’s incredibly knowledgeable, as was my tour guide when I visited last year. I only have good things to say about Lucy and those who work there!
