This State Park In New Jersey Is So Little Known, You'll Practically Have It All To Yourself
If you love hiking and scenic waterfront views, this South Jersey state park is calling your name! Come visit Rancocas State Park and you’ll find yourself wanting to make this a regular weekend excursion.

Despite being close to some of South Jersey's best communities, this park is often completely empty, and it's so easy to find some peaceful, quiet space if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty.

14 "official" trails cover 13 miles, but there are plenty of side trails and detours to make sure you get good and lost in the woods. There are two sides to the park - the forest and meadow trails near the Rancocas Nature Center, and the woodsy uplands between the North and South Branches of the Rancocas Creek.

Find out more on the Rancocas State Park website, and be sure to bring a map with you (either printed or saved to your phone), as it’s pretty easy to get a little lost out here in this winding network of woodsy trails.
