This Jaw Dropping Place In New Jersey Will Blow You Away

From High Point to Cape May, New Jersey is packed with jaw dropping places. I searched the state for something truly unique, and discovered Mount Mitchill in Atlantic Highlands. At 266 feet, this is the highest natural point on the Eastern Seaboard, south of Maine. On a clear day, it offers panoramic views of Sandy Hook, Raritan Bay, and the New York skyline. The 12-acre park is also home to Monmouth County’s 9/11 memorial.

You'll also find a walkway which acts as a timeline of the events on September 11th. Though it is a somber stroll, it serves as a reminder of all New Jersey lost on that awful day. 147 Monmouth County residents perished in the attacks.
