North America's Only Indoor Ski + Snowboard Park Is Right Here In New Jersey

If you’re interested in skiing or snowboarding, you’ve got plenty of options. Mountain Creek is a New Jersey favorite and Campgaw Mountain in Mahwah is perfect for beginners. If that’s not enough, you can head to New York or Pennsylvania for some snowy fun. Sadly, that fun must end when the weather warms up. Come March, all the ski resorts close for the season and we’ve got wait until the next winter. While that may be true for residents of every other state, it’s not true for New Jersey…not anymore. When the American Dream Mall opened (it continues to open in phases), an incredible indoor ski and snowboard park came with it, and it’s the only one of its kind in North America.

You may be familiar with this sloping structure along the Turnpike and Route 3. It looks much better now and inside, you'll find something fantastic.

It's open year-round, offers equipment rentals and lessons and, of course, has a lift. They're open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., so there's plenty of time to get your ski (or board) on.

Rainy days, warm days...nothing can stop the part at this little ski resort. Who wouldn't want to give it a visit? (Yes, that's Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.)

The packages are surprisingly affordable (comparable to other ski resorts) and include equipment, helmet, 2-hour slope access, AND your snow pants and jacket...I haven't seen that anywhere else.

Perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, you can take it easy or ride the rails!

And if you need a break, you can stop at their shop or cafe.
