There are many things I love about living in New Jersey, but one of them is that it may just be the country’s best melting pot of immigrant cultures. Every group who calls New Jersey their home leaves their mark, and it’s impossible to miss – in food, in culture, and in architecture. This small community in Washington Township, with a population of under 2,000, is home to the remnants of one of the first immigrant groups to come to the area – a unique German village in New Jersey, full of buildings built in the 18th and 19th centuries.
