Bite Into A 105-Pound Burger At This Unassuming New Jersey Restaurant
New Jersey is the diner capital of America (and maybe even the world). With that title comes an abundance of amazing diners, but I’ve found one that REALLY stands out. Why? Two pretty incredible reasons…

It's just so charming, and a nice little nod to New Jersey's railroading history. Not only is the railroad part of our past, it's part of our present. Did you know that New Jersey Transit is the largest statewide public transit system in the United States?

Their largest burger (even bigger than the burger pictured) is the "8th Wonder." It comes in at a whopping 105 pounds!!! More manageable (but barely) is their "Mount Olympus Burger", a mere 50 pounds of which 25 pounds are beef. The rest is bun, cheese, and toppings. Next, you'll find the "Zeus" at 15 pounds and the hearty "Atlas" with 3 pounds of beef.

If you can finish the "8th Wonder" with 9 friends in under an hour, you can score $2,000! If you and 4 friends can finish the "Mt. Olympus" in under an hour, the prize is $1,000. If you finish the "Zeus" in 1.5 hours, or bring one friend and finish it in 45 minutes or 2 friends and finish it in 30 minutes, it's on the house plus you win $500! They've also hosted burger eating competitions with multiple prizes. We're all about getting paid to eat!

They're also known for a sizable selection of delectable desserts. Try the chocolate cream pie or Oreo cheesecake. You'll also find an abundance of appetizers, personal pizzas, pastas, salads, seafood, and more. Yum!
We’re BIG fans of these BIG burgers, and we hope you will be, too. They’re not a daily dining choice but they sure are fun. Find the Clintion Station Diner at 2 Bank Street in Clinton. Like all the best diners (or at least most of my favorites), it’s open 24 hours, 7 days a week. To discover more magnificent diners in New Jersey, click here.
