With roughly 130 miles of coastline to enjoy, you can be sure that New Jersey has some incredible oceanfront attractions. We’ve got some of the best boardwalks in the country (Point Pleasant, Atlantic City, Seaside Heights…for starters) and some spectacular restaurants along the shore. One town combines boardwalk fun with fine dining in the most magnificent way…
At 156 feet high, the Giant Wheel at Mariner's Landing is one of the tallest ferris wheels on the East Coast. The boardwalk landmark offers spectacular views of the sea and surrounding shoreline attractions. For the past 33 years (since 1985), New Jerseyans have delighted in taking a spin on the wheel.
The ride itself is fantastic, but it can be made even more amazing. Since 2010 (and briefly in 1997), Morey's Piers has offered patrons the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of dining on the wheel. Serving breakfast on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays between July 21st and August 20th (starting at 9 a.m.), this unique dining option brings the most important meal of the day to a whole new level.
Guests must call for reservations, and July has entirely sold out! So, act fast for August dates or add this to your bucket list for next season. The ride lasts for about 45 minutes - 1 hour, with 15 minutes at the top, and 15 minutes on each side of the wheel.
Guests are escorted to a private gondola (seating 2-4), decked out with linens, fresh flowers, breakfast breads and beverages. The meals are spectacular, with options including Freshly Made Belgian Waffles, Shrimp & Lobster Omelets, Steak & Egg Scrambles, and Jersey Tomato BLTs. Yum! There are 7 different entrees to choose from and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with notice.

A spectacular culinary experience, “Breakfast In The Sky” has even been featured on Travel Channel’s “Epic Attractions.” It makes for a great date, girlfriend get-together or family adventure. Find it at 3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood! For additional details, visit the Morey’s Piers website here.
