Estell Manor Park is a 1,700-acre gem in South Jersey that offers something for everyone.
First inhabited by Native American's the property was eventually owned by the Estell Family. It became a glassworks and then a WWI munitions depot. Now it's a popular county park!
It offers historic glasswork ruins, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, hiking and biking trails, a beach volleyball court, softball and soccer fields, the Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery, camping, kayaking, and more.

Another family favorite is the fully accessible Swamp Trail Boardwalk.
An out and back trail, it's 1.8 miles long, 3.6 miles in total. Along the way, you'll enjoy streams, a cedar swamp, coastal forest, and ruins of the Bethlehem Loading Company.
Once you've completed the boardwalk trail, there's so much more to explore. While bikes aren't allowed on the boardwalk, you can BYOB (bring your own bike) or borrow one for free on-site and traverse any of the park's other trails - dirt bikes are not permitted.
What more can you ask for? This park is perfect for an easy breezy day trip with friends or the whole family! It’s scenic and so affordable. Nearly anything you need, you can borrow at no cost, from the aforementioned bikes to frisbees, horse shoes, soccer balls, and more. Estell Manor Park is a great place for the community, and all New Jerseyans, to come together and enjoy a terrific mix of nature and history.
