Monmouth Road, from Mount Holly to Jackson, New Jersey, is one of the most scenic short drives in the state. Between Route 206 and I-195, you’ll find beautiful farmland, rolling hills, and all sorts of interesting small businesses. One of the best places to stop in this remote section of Monmouth and Burlington Counties is Durr’s Bluebox Produce. It’s close to Six Flags and not far from the turnpike, and it’s a great place for farm-fresh fruits and veggies as well as beautiful pick-your-own flowers.
Years ago, this pick-your-own flower farm and produce stand got its start on the side of the road.
It quickly grew to be so popular that a larger property was needed, and in 2021, Durr's Bluebox Produce was opened.
The beautiful blue barn itself holds the fresh-picked produce for sale. If you're looking for tomatoes, peppers, nectarines, leafy greens, or just about anything else that grows from the ground, you're in luck!
There's a whole lot more to Durr's than just produce, though! One thing that made this roadside stand so popular before they expanded was their beautiful pick-your-own zinnia field, and the tradition has followed to the new location.
Pick a bouquet for your table or to give as a gift. They grow all sorts of flowers in a huge range of colors, so you can match any room or pick your favorite color for a beautiful selection!
There's nothing more relaxing than walking the rows and rows of beautiful flowers, looking for the ones you want to add to your handful to create the perfect combination.
Spend a sunny summer day at Durr's Bluebox Produce and you'll come home with fresh fruits, veggies, and beautiful blossoms to brighten up your home -- and your day!
