Do you want to dine under a tree in New Jersey? This restaurant in Hoboken is a real treat, especially if you love natural features in your dining atmosphere. With all of the great dining options around this area, you might overlook a table beneath a tree on the corner. Until now, that is! Keep your eye out for this restaurant when foliage seems like a feature you’d enjoy.
Welcome to Elysian Cafe, a beautiful restaurant in Hoboken that is perfect for a night inside as well as a romantic spot to dine outdoors. Underneath the leaves of their large tree, meals feel a little extra special.
Serving since 1895, originally known as Dillenger & Jeffson's, and lasting throughout prohibition and beyond, this building has a lot of history in every structure.
However, the beauty inside is matched by the experience of dining outside, especially when there are lights hung up on the tree to give it something extra. Out here, the dangling branches and spots of light make you feel like you're in your own little world.
The menu is mainly French Bistro style items, from oysters to steak, each served with pretty plating and portions to match. If you don't like things very fancy, rest assured there are other items such as burgers and plenty of dessert choices on the menu to satisfy you.
