One Of The Country's Best Craft Fairs Is Right Here In New Jersey
I am absolutely biased but I am still quite sure that New Jersey must be one of the best places for antiquing in America. You can find all sorts of treasures in towns like Lambertville, Cape May, Somerville, Andover, and Chester. But Chester isn’t just a destination for lovers of all things old made new again, it’s the kind of town you fall in love with.

One of the biggest attractions is Alstede Farms. Visitors can pick their own fruits and veggies, take tours and hayrides, shop for fresh, local produce, and plenty more. Alstede Farms also offers fantastic events including a pie tasting weekend, seasonal corn maze, all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts and much more. Another site that brings people in is the historic Cooper Gristmill - be sure to take a tour.
Chester is also home to the Black River Candy Shoppe, a local icon offering over 900 different candy varieties. Time and time again they've been ranked among the best candy shops in the state (and the country) and you'll absolutely love the old-fashioned feel. Also worth visiting is Sally Lunn's Restaurant & Tearoom, offering small plates and platters, mini-desserts, and of course, tea...there are dozens and dozens to choose from.

Now in its 45th year, the Chester Fall Craft Show brings visitors and vendors from all over the East Coast (and beyond). It has set attendance records and won numerous awards. America's Premier Art and Craft Show Magazine, Sunshine Artist, ranked the show number one in New Jersey and among the top 50 in the nation.

You'll find furniture, jewelry, apparel, ornaments, home accessories and more. These beautiful birdhouses were all made by the talented Mitch Erceg. This year's vendors include Carol's Scents and Soaps, Hart Woodcrafts, Tasselled Totes, Stichery By Stacy, and more! The selection is truly spectacular and there's something for everyone. It's almost impossible to leave empty handed. You'll also find food and entertainment.
