Sure, at least half of the Garden State goes wild for WaWa (with good reason) but we think QuickChek is where it’s at. Why? Well, while WaWa was founded by a born and raised New Jerseyan, the chain got its start in Pennsylvania. And though there are dozens of stores in New Jersey, the company’s headquarters remain on the other side of the Delaware. QuickCheck is all Jersey!
QuickCheck is headquartered in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. Their first store opened up in 1967 in Dunellen, New Jersey.
They're the perfect place to stock up on snacks and road trip essentials like travel-size toothpaste and car chargers. They've got all kinds of convenience items!
But where they really shine is the dining department. Head here for quick, cheap eats! There are plenty of breakfast options, from pork roll, egg, and cheese on a hard roll to scrambled eggs and sausage on a burrito. Vegetarian options are also available.
When it comes to lunch and dinner, they're probably most famous for their subs. There are dozens upon dozens of options to choose from, and you're welcome to craft your own. Their selection includes a Turkey Sriracha Melt, Chicken Toscano Supreme, Philly-Style Cheeseteak, and Fire Roasted BLT. Yummy!
But the selection doesn't stop at subs - there's something for everyone. Options include popcorn chicken, pretzel melts, soups, salads, empanadas, hot dogs, mac n' cheese bowls, and more.
They're also pretty famous for their coffee. You'll find creative seasonal flavors (try the eggnog latte) and exceptional classics. They were voted best coffee in New Jersey in 2015! Prefer something cooler? Go for an iced coffee or fruit smoothie.
You'll definitely want to download their app! You can score great BOGO deals and even freebies! (I've gotten free coffee, cookies, fries, and more...no purchase necessary!)
And we can't forget their annual balloon festival, held in picturesque Readington, New Jersey. They've got balloons, live music, and a pop up QuickCheck to satisfy your sub cravings.
