Is there anything better than a trip to the comic book store on new comic day? Certainly not for me as a kid growing up in the 90s. I would race there to grab the new books off the rack as soon as school let out every Wednesday. A lot has changed since then, of course – many people get their comics through digital services or online subscriptions, but a few comic book stores are still going strong. One of them is Main Street Comics & Toys, probably the best comic book store in NJ. This Milltown store does a little bit of everything – it’s packed every Wednesday for new releases, of course, but it also has a massive selection of vintage back issues. For those seeking the ultimate nostalgia fix, though, head into the collectible and toy rooms and prepare for a blast from the past!
