Everything is better in color, and that goes for New Jersey. That’s what I thought, at least, until I came across these striking photos of the Jersey Shore. Black and white photos certainly have their merits. They can be timeless, intriguing, surreal, and mysterious. They offer a different perspective and you really can’t go wrong with photography when your subject is the gorgeous Garden State.

From beautiful bays to the Atlantic Ocean and bustling boardwalks to charming towns, there’s so much to love about the Jersey Shore.
