You've Never Seen Anything Like This Bizarre New Jersey Boardwalk Funhouse
The Jersey Shore is iconic, and all of us New Jersey residents have fond memories of the place – but for me, there was no location down the shore that influenced my childhood more than Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. This place is so much more than a beach – there’s a collection of arcades, a mini-golf course, an amusement park, and even an acclaimed aquarium. But at one point, a new attraction opened – and it instantly became the place’s standout feature. There is a massive, two-story funhouse on the Jersey Shore, and this isn’t your ordinary carnival attraction. This is a surreal, interactive experience that must be seen to be believed. So step inside the strangest, funniest place on the Jersey Shore!
Wondering where we got all these amazing photos? Jacob the Carpetbagger, a popular travel blogger known for his love of strange roadside and boardwalk attractions, took us on an epic journey through the entire funhouse, as well as some other spots on the boardwalk, in this video posted in 2022.
Have you visited this bizarre funhouse on the Jersey Shore? Let us know about your visit, and tell us your favorite spots at Jenkinson’s in the comments section! You can find out more on the official Jenkinson’s website, and Jenkinson’s Facebook page will let you know all about seasonal operations through the off-season. This is just one reason to visit Point Pleasant Beach, though – we think it’s the friendliest town in New Jersey. If you’re planning a getaway here, consider checking into the White Sands Oceanfront Resort and Spa, only minutes from the boardwalk.
