The holidays are over, but we still have quite a bit of winter ahead of us. But don’t despair – there are plenty of celebrations left in the season in New Hampshire. There’s no reason to stay inside hiding from the cold all of the time. Get out and enjoy one of these fantastic festivals!
1. Winter Carnival, Concord, January 20
Concord's Winter Carnival at White Park runs 10:30 a.m.–4 p.m. on Saturday, January 20. It starts off with an Ugly Sweater 5k and also includes an ice skating race, a snowman contest, sledding, and more. Learn more

2. New London Winter Carnival, New London, February 1-3
New London's annual winter carnival runs for three days, with highlights including Dinner with Jack Frost on Friday (complete with firepits and s'mores), ice fishing, dog sledding, and snow shoeing on Saturday. The event culminates in a Saturday evening fireworks show. Learn more
