If you’re looking for somewhere to dock your boat and head on over for dinner, try waterfront dining at BG’s BoatHouse. This wonderful restaurant has been a landmark in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for over 43 years, so you know they’re doing something right! Get your seafood fix before heading back out on the water for the day.
BG’s BoatHouse is located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and has been a staple of the restaurant dining scene since 1978.
Founded by Bruce and Joanne Graves, now generations of the Graves family work and run this amazing restaurant. Nicknamed "where the locals go," there’s a reason why this restaurant has thrived for so long.
It’s located right on the water on Sagamore Creek.
You can pull your boat up and tie up on their single dock slip before you run in and grab a meal. There’s also plenty of parking if you choose to drive there instead.

They’re famous for their fresh seafood, and you can find lobster, clams, steamers, and more.
In fact, they’re known for serving some of the freshest seafood on the seacoast. Their lobster roll is so good, it's one of the most requested items on the menu!
Their beer, wine, and cocktail list is perfect for a meal by the water. Drink an ice cold draft beer, or enjoy any one of their fun, seasonal cocktails.
There are two decks you can dine on for fabulous water views.
The decks are right over the water and offering stunning views of the creek surrounding you. There’s no bad spot to have dinner when you dine at BG’s BoatHouse.
This wonderful restaurant is open seven days a week.
You must call ahead at 603-431-1074 starting at 10:00 a.m. for reservations. They’re only available the day of, so make sure to call early so there will be a table available!

Dine with them inside or on their spectacular waterfront deck Monday through Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. through 8:30 p.m., and 11:30 a.m. through 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. You’ll love your meal and the view!
