When it comes to scenic views there’s no shortage of spots to choose from here in New Hampshire, but there are some that feel a bit more majestic than the every day beauty we’re used to. You’ll often find these spots in unexpected places. Just around the bend, behind a bunch of trees, in a friend’s backyard. This unique bed and breakfast is a great example of one of those unexpectedly incredible views. Check it out!
Top of the Ridge Farm in New Durham offers a luxury-feel bed and breakfast experience surrounded by the natural beauty of New Hampshire's New Durham Ridge.
It's believed that the farmhouse was built sometime around 1760 on about 100 acres of land. You can still find gravestones for the original family owners on the property.
Each room has its own personality and style. And while they're all lovely, there's a good chance you'll be spending most of your time exploring the area. Top of the Ridge is located within a close drive of many lakes, hikes, small towns, historic buildings and even lots of arts and culture.
And each morning you'll be treated to an incredible breakfast using local ingredients. Later in the day head to the Libation Room to enjoy sweets and snacks. They also offer a wonderful Cicchetti, which are typical Venetian savory snacks or small plates and side dishes. This is a great time to chat with other guests and meet the innkeepers.
This is a wonderful place to visit for a special occasion or even just a short getaway.
Top of the Ridge Farm Bed and Breakfast operates year-round. You can learn more about the farm and how to book your time there on their website. Or, check them out on Facebook. They can be reached on 603-393-0005.
