New Hampshire in the summer is a sight to behold. From lakes to mountains to forested fields, getting outside into the fresh air is always a high priority for us. And, one of our favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors here each summer is this sunflower festival. For just under two weeks this farm is awash in color, making everything look yellow and green for as far as the eye can see! And, even better, it goes to help support a great cause.

Coppal House Farm, located in Lee offers an abundance of vegetables and farm goods throughout the year. And in the fall they have a well-known corn maze. But, if you ask us, the summer is our favorite place to be on the farm!

This is when things come alive with the annual bloom of their Oilseed sunflower crop.

This variety of sunflowers is special because, unlike the ornamental variety, these only bloom for about 12 days.

That means that at the end of the 12 days, these flowers turn their heads and begin to dry and ultimately the farm turns them into sunflower oil.

The best part is that 10% of the total farm profits are donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Over the past four years, they've raised $35,000 allowing them to fully fund wonderful wishes for a few different children.

Coppal House Farm is located at 118 North River Road, Lee, New Hampshire. The annual sunflower festival takes place from July 27th to August 4th. You can learn more about the farm and get all the details related to the festival by clicking here.

Tickets: Tickets provide access to the sunflower fields, tented shade area, picnic area and farm animals.

  • Monday through Friday admission is $10 for people 13 years old and above. Kids 8-12 years of age, folks 65+ and military are $8.
  • Saturday and Sunday admission is $12 for people 13 years old and above. Kids 8-12 years of age, folks 65+ and military are $10.
