This scenic 5,000-acre park in Rockingham County offers something for everyone, including a beach for sun lovers, trails for hikers and marshland for birdwatchers. Five spacious cabins each have room enough for six people.

3. Coleman State Park

Near the Canadian border is an escape that will take you to another world. Deer Mountain State Park is surrounded by the lush Connecticut Lakes State Forest. It has a comfortable cabin that sleeps up to eight people.
