New Hampshire is full of fun history and interesting opportunities to learn more about it. There are plenty of actual history museums and attractions to visit, but we gravitate to the more unique options. Today we’re focused on one that recently came to our attention when talking about just how much we love this season here. So if you love soaking up all there is to know about winter in New Hampshire, head to Allenstown!
Located in Allenstown, near Bear Brook State Park, you'll find the official New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum.
Throughout the season the museum hosts rallies and in February 2022 they'll be hosting the 37th occasion! Complete with a "featured sled" (this year it's the Cross Country racer) rallies are a must-attend for anyone who loves getting outside to enjoy a ride.
There are quite a few unique museums here in New Hampshire and this one feels like one of the most quintessential examples of what it's like to spend time here.
The New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum can be visited throughout the year, but it’s best to get in touch with them to find out when you can visit. You can learn more about them by visiting their website or by following them on Facebook. They can be reached on 603-722-7069.
