Sometimes you will run across a small town in New Hampshire that doesn’t appear to be much of a town at all. The town of Shelburne on the border with Maine is one such town. It’s a rural community on the edges of the White Mountain National Forest and aside from one major highway passing through, it’s a quiet White Mountains town. It also happens to be a place that is home to a long-distance adventure trail and a whole host of other outdoor opportunities.
