From the top of Mount Washington to the shores of our 13-mile coastline, there are so many ways to appreciate nature here in New Hampshire. While winter is great, it’s summer that we love most. This is when being outside feels like a necessity and when we can truly explore everything this great state offers. While you’re doing your own exploration this season, be sure to look for some of the off-the-beaten-path things. This unique state park should be on that list!
Rhododendron State Park is open all the time, but you’ll only find comfort stations and rangers here in the summer. An entry fee of $4 (adults) and $2 (children) must be paid on summer weekends. You can learn more about it here. Or you can give them a call on 603-532-8862. Address: 424 Rockwood Pond Road, Fitzwilliam, NH 03447.
