It’s winter in New Hampshire. Probably best to stay indoors and wait for things to thaw out. Or, you could get outside and experience everything that comes with the colder weather in New England. From skiing to tubing to seeing the sites from up above, there’s nothing like the appreciation for the state that comes when getting outside and seeing it in all its glory. That’s why we absolutely love the idea of this dog sledding tour!
Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is located at 32 Valley Rd., Jefferson, New Hampshire. There are four different experiences to have here, including the 1.5-hour tour, the 3-hour tour, the Mini Mush and the Musher for a Minute. You can learn more about what each of these include on their website. See more photos on their Facebook page. Everyone ages 2 and up can enjoy kennel tours and dog sledding adventures, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You can reach them on 603-545-4533.
To keep enjoying the best of winter in New Hampshire, check out this horse-drawn sleigh ride through the forest. It’s tranquil and beautiful.
