The beautiful Farm by the River Bed & Breakfast in North Conway is one of the most enchanting wintertime places you can visit! And while simply enjoying a weekend away is fun, the fact that they also have stables makes this special place even more of a must-visit.

They offer a variety of activities that involve their horses and each one is safe, fun, and great for all ages. This time of year we have their carriage and sleigh rides on our minds.

They offer two different types of trips, including a private Victorian carriage that's great for a couple. These rides are a fun way to celebrate something special or to just take some time to appreciate the beauty of New Hampshire.

They also offer a sleigh ride that's great for two to four people. Both will take visitors through the 70-acre wooded area surrounding the farm. You'll be surprised that you're just a short two miles from downtown North Conway.

Each ride makes its way through nearby meadows and forests with Maple and evergreen trees. And it includes some of the best views of the Saco River, Mt. Cranmore, Mt. Kearsarge, Cathedral, and White Horse Ledges.

We especially love how caring the staff here is. They'll allow visitors to really get to know the horses, making this a great activity for kids or adults who can be a bit nervous around larger animals.

And while we love the wintertime rides, it's fun to visit in the summer as well. You can enjoy meeting the horses, exploring the grounds, and riding throughout the year.
