There’s no denying it — this has been a ridiculously hot summer. As the toasty, humid days drag on, we’ve all been suffering. Luckily, there are plenty of places to cool down in New Hampshire, both natural and manmade. One of our favorites is an epic water-based adventure park, where you and your family can stay entertained — and cool — for days on end.
Whale's Tale Water Park in Lincoln is a favorite destination for families from all over New England, and for good reason. This place has a ridiculous amount of attractions, and it's always clean and well-staffed.
They aren't messing around when it comes to waterslides and tube rides. With 11 slides, you'll be entertained for hours.
Of course, the rides are at all levels — from steep drops to more gentle slides, there's something for all ages.
Kids will especially love Shipwreck Island, a water complex that is basically a self-contained park in itself. There's no avoiding it — you're going to get wet on this one!
There's even a fantastic wave pool for boogie boarding or surfing. Private lessons are available!
Once you've had your fill of adrenaline rushes, head over to the 1/4 mile long lazy river, where you can relax in a comfortable tube while enjoying the perfect temperature of the water.
For more details and Whale’s Tale hours, check out their website ! You can find the park at 481 Daniel Webster Hwy., Lincoln, NH 03251.
