Our favorite is the totally unique ice skating experience they offer right on their Emerald Lake. Each year they turn it into a three-acre skating park that looks just like the Victorian skating parks you'd find decades ago!

This might be one of the most fun winter activities in the state. It's totally worth braving the cold for. All you need is warm clothes and a camera to capture all your special memories.

The Nestlenook Farm ice skating rink opens when the ice is at least 12″ thick. That means they need a string of a few cold days to make things happen. When they open their hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and  $7 for kids 4 to 7. Ages 3 and below are free. They also offer skate rentals by the hour for $12 or for the day for $15. Check their website or Facebook to keep up with their schedule.
