There's Nothing More Special Than An Evening On This Three-Acre Natural Ice Skating Rink In New Hampshire
Things might feel a bit different this winter, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of fun to be had. Between sweet hiking trails that are great for the entire family and outdoor dining spots that promise to keep us nice and warm, there are lots of ways to remember that New Hampshire is the best place to be this season. And if you need just one more reason to love it, take a trip to this special farm in Jackson!
The Nestlenook Farm ice skating rink opens when the ice is at least 12″ thick. That means they need a string of a few cold days to make things happen. When they open their hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids 4 to 7. Ages 3 and below are free. They also offer skate rentals by the hour for $12 or for the day for $15. Check their website or Facebook to keep up with their schedule. Or you can give them a call at 603-383-7101.
And as your making your winter plans remember the warning we got in the fall. New Hampshirites should expect extra cold and snow this winter according to the Farmers Almanac!
