Sap House Meadery in Ossipee, New Hampshire is the perfect spot to grab a drink on a hot day (or really on any day). But, don’t you worry, you can also order wine, and local beers, as well, at this cozy establishment. And who doesn’t want to have a drink in a town called Ossipee? We think you will enjoy this libation expedition greatly.
In existence since 2009, Sap House Meadery is a charming and unique fixture in the center of Ossipee.
Sit outside on the dog-friendly patio. Play one of the board games on hand. On Saturday mornings, you can find the staff at the local farmers market offering free tastings, and selling mead and tacos.
Each month there is a new selection of meads for you to choose from. Get your pink drink right here when you try Honeyberry, one of the classics.
Other mead cocktails include: the watermelon meadjito; the Mabon-Mosa, a spin on an apple mimosa; the Coffee Crumb Cake, with mead containing coffee and spices; and La Bamba, an avocado blossom honey mead aged in mezcal tequila barrels.

Stop in for Sangria Sundays (where the sangria is made with mead, of course)!
Make a reservation for a tour or mead tasting. Join Club Mead (not to be confused with Club Med vacations) and receive bottles of mead at a discounted price.
Take your mead from a bottle, a can, or right from the glass.
Order a flight, so you can sample a variety of meads. Sap House meads are sold at local stores too, such as The Common Man Company Store in Ashland and DeCicco & Sons.
If beer is more your drink of choice, Sap House offers an ever-changing selection of local craft beers.
Other dishes include pizzas, cheese boards, and even vegan soup. During the summer, every Friday night is Oyster Night.
