Whether they’re more of a walk near the coast, accessibly paved, or more challenging routes up a mountain, there’s something for just about anyone in the Granite State. The Lockes Hill Trail, with views across Lake Winnipesaukee, is simple and features a surprisingly small elevation gain for such great visibility. It’s called one of the best trails in New Hampshire, and I can see why!

The trail is only .3 miles and has no difficult terrain besides a few stairs. It takes you to a 64-foot waterfall surrounded by a gorgeous forest and impressive rock formations. You can be in and out of here in less than an hour - depending on how long you want to admire those falls!
